One Day to go beyond breakfast.
One Day gives all UK permanent employees the opportunity to donate a full or half day salary to our UK Charity of the Year, Magic Breakfast, through payroll giving. The bank will match all employee donations, outside of the usual annual allowance, doubling the impact you make.
This year, you also have the option to donate half a day’s salary to support Magic Breakfast. The new half day donation option offers another way to give towards One Day, if you do not wish to donate a full day’s salary.
Donating through payroll is the most efficient way to give. All donations are taken before tax and the charity receive the gross amount, whilst you get tax relief.
Eg: If you donate £100 gross and you're a 40% tax payer - this costs you £60, but the charity receives £200.
All external employees can donate through our Deutsche Bank One Day 2026 - JustGiving, which will also be matched. Please use your Deutsche Bank email address and ensure you select that you are happy to be contacted by Deutsche Bank.
