How it works
Once you complete your registration to donate using this webpage, the payroll team will calculate your donation as 1/260 (full day) or 1/520 (half day) of your current basic gross annual salary and will arrange for this amount to be deducted from your pay. By donating through payroll, you get tax relief on your donation, so the cost to you is the net amount. The funds are then transferred to Charities Trust for distribution to the charity. Your salary related information remains strictly confidential between you and Deutsche Bank UK Payroll.
If you are an external employee and have donated a day’s salary via our Deutsche Bank One Day 2026 - JustGiving page, this will reach the charity immediately via the JustGiving platform.
As with any donation you make to any UK registered charity (up to £3,000 p/a for personal donations), Deutsche Bank will match your gross donation. Donations relating to the One Day campaign will not affect your annual £3,000 matched giving limit and matching will be paid in addition to normal limits. For this campaign, you do NOT need to fill in any forms to activate the matching. External employees will also have their donations matched for this campaign.
